Traffic Engineering
The study involves collecting data on transportation infrastructure status using manual or automated methods like cameras and loop detectors. Various data types, including turning movements, link counts, and occupancy, are collected based on the specific problem. Analytical software like AIMSUM, HDM4, and VISSIM is used for analysis, along with tools like ArcGIS and Excel.
Manuals like AASHTO Green Book and TRB’s HCM guide solutions to meet standards. The traffic model helps identify improvements for a more efficient and safe infrastructure. Our long-standing collaboration with authorities ensures a smooth approval process, thanks to our understanding of local requirements and standards.

Data Collection & Analysis
We possess expertise in handling both quantitative data (numerical information subject to mathematical analysis) and qualitative data (narrative descriptions conveying stories, opinions, or interpretations).
Under the domain of data collection and analysis, we have conducted various surveys such as household surveys, origin-destination surveys, parking assessments, turning movement counts, link counts, public transport ridership assessments, surveys on non-motorized users, freight vehicles, number plate or license plate surveys, and user experience surveys.
Employing technology, including cameras, sensors, loop detectors, and Bluetooth readers, allows us to gather comprehensive data over extended periods, spanning weeks or months.
To ensure data quality, we utilize statistical tools and tests, providing a high level of confidence in the collected data. Regression analysis may offer additional insights.

Integrated transportation planning
The initial phase of our approach involves a thorough review and alignment of policies within the broader planning context. This includes an extensive examination of existing literature and research to identify best practices and tested solutions implemented on both local and international scales. Moving forward, we conduct status quo investigations to assess available transport systems. This involves evaluating the current capacity of each system, analyzing the demand/supply ratio, and identifying existing gaps. This stage often requires extensive data collection, encompassing traffic counts, pedestrian counts, public transport surveys, accident statistics, travel surveys, geometric data, and road safety audits. Subsequently, the collected data undergoes rigorous analysis, and if necessary, scenario testing is employed to comprehensively evaluate various potential outcomes.
